Video Exclusive: A Revealing Morning With Sarah Palin
by John Ziegler
If someone told me five months ago that in early January I would pay over $1,400 for an incredibly inconvenient plane ticket and $120 for a 3 a.m. cab fare to get from sunny Los Angeles to Wasilla, Alaska, I would have told them there was a better chance the Dow Jones would be below 9,000 and a gallon of gas less than two dollars.
If they would have told me I’d be glad to have made the journey (even with a seven-hou…

While it is illegal to bet on U.S. elections in the United States, the rest of the world is fascinated with U.S. Elections and don't have any qualms about betting on our elections. In some ways this is similar to the Nevada laws that make it illegal to vote on any College sporting event in Nevada. I am sure this is to prevent manipulation of amateur athletics. But I am also sure that voting goes on under the table.
There is a sports betting site in Great Britain named WilliamHill.com that posts…

Sarah Palin: Conservative of the Year
by Ann Coulter
12/22/2008
Sarah Palin wins HUMAN EVENTS’ prestigious “Conservative of the Year” Award for 2008 for her genius at annoying all the right people. The last woman to get liberals this hot under the collar would have been … let's see now … oh, yeah: Me!
The entire presidential election year was kind of a downer for conservatives. Once the “maverick” John McCain won the nomination, the rest of the year was like watching a slow motion car crash.…

November 09, 2008 09:07 PM ET
James Pethokoukis
It's never too early for Intrade to start putting odds on the next presidential election. For the GOP nomination:
1) Mitt Romney 24.5 percent,
2) Mike Huckabee 11.1 percent,
3) Sarah Palin 10.5 percent,
4) Newt Gingrich 8.9 percent (thanks Bob Novak).
No wagers have yet been placed on Bobby Jindal and David Petraeus, but volume overall is pretty light. Pl…

December 12, 2008 —Jindal Backs Out for 2012, Leaving Southerners Crist and Huckabee
The decision of Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal (R) to run for re-election as governor in 2011 and forego a race for the White House in 2012 leaves two other Southern GOPers with Potomac fever. Former Arkansas Governor, now Fox News commentator, Mike Huckabee and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, who gets a boost by his marriage today to beautiful heiress Carole Rome, are…

CNN poll gives Palin slight advantage over others for 2012 GOP nomination
We'll say it before you do: It's ridiculous to take any polls about the 2012 presidential race seriously.
But they're still fun for political junkies.
CNN and Opinion Research just released the results of a Dec. 1-2 national poll of 460 Republicans. They were asked about some of the potential contenders for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination and whether they would be "very" or "somewhat" likely to support each…

By Alex Leary, Times staff writer
In print: Sunday, November 30, 2008
No sooner had Barack Obama won the presidential election than pundits started looking to 2012 and possible Republican challengers. A Gallup Poll asked people to rank the top 10 candidates they would like to run. Topping the list: Sarah Palin (67 percent), Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee. Second to last: Gov. Charlie Crist (23 percent), one below former Gov. Jeb Bush (31 percent). The t…
